Lockheed scores big with Joint Strike Fighter contract change

The Joint Strike Fighter continues to be big business for Fort Worth-based Lockheed Martin.

Lockheed just won a $39.3 million contract change in the continued development of the JSF.  The work will be performed at Lockheed’s Fort Worth offices, and is part of a larger contract to design, verify, and test the JSF.

The JSF is the DOD’s newest fifth-generation jet fighter and will be the most technologically advanced aircraft of its kind when it enters service in 2016.  TexasBusiness.com
