Meyer Tool expanding, creating 50 jobs

Meyer Tool, Inc. is planning to build a $3.5 million, 30,000-square-foot facility and to expand its existing building in Camp Washington, adding 50 jobs by 2015.

The Cincinnati-based company produces turbine engine components and test stands for aircraft engine manufacturers such as GE Aviation, Honeywell, Pratt & Whitney, Rolls Royce and Snecma.

The Cincinnati City Council has entered into an agreement with Meyer that includes a 15-year Community Reinvestment Area tax exemption, reduction of the development’s property tax liability and a five-year job creation tax credit.
