Honda’s world headquarters in Greensboro expands with Jet Maintenance Facility. 400 jobs ahead
Honda Aircraft Company broke ground for a maintenance/repair/overhaul (MRO) facility in Greensboro.
When completed, the 90,000-square-foot service center will support and maintain the Honda Jet, the company’s lightweight business jet.
KBR Building Group of Charlotte, and The Daniele Co., based in Durham, will build the facility, which is scheduled to open in late 2013.
The facility is part of Honda Aircraft’s expansion that will add over 400 jobs in the next five years.
