Tulsa aerospace veterans see bright future with Bristow's First Wave MRO

A privately-owned Bristow aerospace company, First Wave MRO, is now the newest venture for two veteran Tulsa aerospace executives.

First Wave MRO was acquired by Tray Siegfried and Jon Werthen of Tulsa. The company, which was founded in 1992, repairs, overhauls and manufactures aerospace parts for commercial and military aircraft.

The new owners said First Wave will continue operating in its 226,000-square-foot manufacturing plant and its 60 employees. The company has one of the largest inventories of repairable and expendable aviation components in the world.
