New contract means new jobs at aviation contractor FACC Solutions in Wichita
FACC Solutions makes winglets for Boeing 737’s like this one for Southwest Airlines
When Austria-based, aviation-component manufacturer FACC Solutions completed a contract with a Wichita aircraft company, it looked as though the firm would close up shop and take flight to Seattle. However, new business means the company will not only stay grounded in Wichita, but it will expand and add up to 50 new jobs, as well.
The new contract, a program to modify 737 winglets for Boeing, will keep the company in Wichita indefinitely according to FACC Solution officials. In addition, the manufacturer plans to move into a new 25,700-square-foot manufacturing facility in August.
FACC Solutions is accepting applications for qualified composite technicians, inspectors and painters. Interested parties can contact the company at 316-210-9459 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
