Hiring up at Vertical Aerospace in Bristow

Bristow-based aerospace manufacturer Vertical Aerospace has announced plans to launch 110 new jobs at its Bristow plant. The company will receive assistance with the new hires through incentives from the Oklahoma Quality Jobs program, according to a press release from the Oklahoma Department of Commerce.

Vertical Aerospace offers maintenance, repair and overhaul solutions for the aerospace industry from its state-of-the-art, 226,000-square-foot facility in Bristow. The Oklahoma Quality Jobs Program allows qualifying establishments creating new quality jobs to receive an incentive to locate or expand in the state. Administered by Oklahoma Department of Commerce, the program provides quarterly cash payments of up to 5 percent of new taxable payroll directly to a qualifying company for up to 10 years.
