Flyover no more

With its central location, great business climate and industry experience in the aerospace industry, Oklahoma is turning heads when it comes to those selecting sites for their next expansion.

Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin left the Paris Air Show this summer with a commitment from Ferra Engineering to locate a new facility in the northeast portion of the state.

It’s part of a larger initiative to expand the industry’s presence in the Sooner State.

The state is already playing a major role in the evolution of unmanned aerial systems that may soon benefit Oklahoma’s other industries, such as agriculture and oil and gas, with enhanced monitoring techniques.
