STILLWATER, Okla. — Asco Aerospace USA has begun production at its 715,000-square-foot aerospace manufacturing facility in Stillwater. The company is a world leader in the design and manufacture of high lift mechanism devices, complex mechanical assemblies and major functional components for the aerospace industry.
Asco manufactures several wing and fuselage components for the Boeing 737, 777 and 787 airplanes. Production started in January 2014 and first deliveries were made in April.
The factory currently employs 110 people and Asco is still hiring engineers, CNC machinists and operators, treatment operators, quality specialists, polishers and painters.
Asco designed and built a state-of-the-art lean manufacturing facility, with machining, heat and surface treatment and assembly of complex machined titanium, steel and aluminum parts all integrated in house. The steel and aluminum lines are operational, and Asco is now working on its titanium line.
