HUVRData set to launch in Austin, hire pilots

AUSTIN, Texas — Austin-based HUVRData, a drone data analytics startup, announced that it will hire 10-12 pilots and invest in technology and deployment trucks after a $2 million Series A round of funding.

HUVRData was founded in 2014, and employs drones to inspect equipment for the oil and gas, solar and agriculture industries. The FAA awarded the company a certificate of authorization to fly drones within U.S. airspace in May.
