Frontier Electronic Systems’ work in Stillwater is out of this world – VIDEO
STILLWATER, Okla. — Frontier Electronic Systems, based in Stillwater, manufactures equipment used by NASA for the International Space Station.
Led by President and CEO Brenda Rolls, the company makes a thermal vacuum chamber that is used by engineers to test equipment that will be used in space.
For Frontier, it all began in 1973 when Rolls’s parents, Ed and Peggy Shreve, founded the company. It now has 115 employees in Stillwater, including 53 engineers.
The high-tech, aerospace and engineering company also produces other innovative devices used in a variety of industries.
